Signal Generator (Multi Frequency)

The Multi Frequency VLF Signal Generator provides a local signal source for tuning the VLF Receiver and the loop aerial to the frequency of any one of six frequencies, chosen by setting an internal link.  The following frequencies are provided as standard:

18.3 kHz (Rosnay, France)

19.6 kHz (Anthorn, UK)

21.75 kHz (Rosnay, France)

22.1 kHz (Skelton, UK)

23.4 kHz (Ramsloh, Germany)

24.0 kHz (Cutler, USA)

On request, we can program the Multi Frequency VLF Signal Generator with a set of frequencies designed for observers in North America as follows:

19.8kHz (North West Cape, Australia) [NWC]

21.4kHz (Lualualei, Hawaii) [NPM]

24.0kHz (Cutler, Maine) [NAA]

24.8kHz (Jim Creek, Washington) [NLK]
